More than 2400 Participants in the “RA Prime Minister’s Cup” Amateur Road Race
Today, for the fourth time, the “RA Prime Minister’s Cup” amateur road race took place on the Parakar-Etchmiadzin highway.
In Echmiadzin, the RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Karen Giloyan, spoke about this year’s “RA Prime Minister’s Cup” amateur competitions.
This year, around twenty foreign participants took part in the overall competition. We’ve seen a 40% increase in the number of participants in the “RA Prime Minister’s Cup” amateur competitions compared to last year. Last year, around 6,700 participants took part in all the competitions across various sports, while this year, the number reached around 9,800, including regional and community stages.
Participants who placed 1st to 10th in three age categories, as well as in individual athlete groups, will receive cash prizes ranging from 50,000 to 1,000,000 drams.
