After the national team’s defeat to North Macedonia, head coach Aleksandr Petrakov was removed from his position. In the upcoming matches, the team will be led by the FFA’s technical director Suren Chakhalyan.
It is notable that Tigran Barseghyan, who had stopped being called up during Aleksandr Petrakov’s tenure, is included in the squad. There was a disagreement between Petrakov and Barseghyan. Also, Khoren Bayramyan, who also stopped being called up under the Ukrainian coach. He is not included in the squad for these matches.
The national team will face the Faroe Islands on November 14 in Yerevan, and Latvia on November 17.
