Fire at “Domus” Hypermarket Has Been Contained

On October 7, at 12:57 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a fire had broken out in the storage area of the “Domus” hypermarket located on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan. Property and equipment in an area of 2,500 to 3,000 square meters have been damaged. According to initial reports, there are no injuries.

According to employees, the fire was caused by electrical fluctuations in the storage area. Initially, they attempted to extinguish the fire themselves, but it spread further. Rescuers arrived to help. There were no explosions. Seventeen fire units were deployed on site.

Currently, post-fire extinguishing operations are underway.
