Israel has announced its first casualty following the invasion of Lebanon.

Two days have passed since Israel’s ground invasion of Lebanon, which was marked by the breaching of Hezbollah’s tunnels near the border.

The Israeli Defense Forces have reported the first casualty following the invasion. According to the announcement, 22-year-old Captain Eytan Yitzhak Oster was killed during combat in Lebanon.

Muhammad Afif, head of Hezbollah’s press office, stated during a tour organized by the party in the southern suburbs of Beirut that the number of Israeli casualties in today’s fighting is significant.
