From Turkey to Azerbaijan and Vice Versa via Armenia: Armenia Ready to Sign Peace Treaty This Month
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the regular meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council in Moscow.
During the session, the Prime Minister stated that Armenia is ready to facilitate uninterrupted transit from Azerbaijan to Turkey and vice versa.
Armenia is prepared to ensure the free passage of vehicles, goods, and passengers through its territory from Turkey to Azerbaijan and vice versa, as well as from Azerbaijan to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
In his speech, Pashinyan also touched upon the issue of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan, emphasizing that the Government of the Republic of Armenia is firmly committed to the swift establishment of peace in the South Caucasus and to guiding the region towards stable and predictable development, taking into account the interests of all countries in the region.
We are ready to sign this document as early as this month, and this is our official position.
