BRICS Grants Partner Country Status to 13 Nations

The BRICS summit in Kazan has concluded. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the summit and delivered a speech.

The main objectives of the three-day summit were to deepen financial cooperation, focus on efforts to resolve regional conflicts, and expand BRICS.

Leaders and representatives from 36 countries attended the summit. The Kremlin called it Russia’s “largest foreign policy event ever held.”

Thirteen countries were granted partner country status by BRICS. The new partners include Kazakhstan, Algeria, Belarus, Turkey, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Uganda, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
