“Armenia’s Existence Also Depends on Georgia’s Return to the European Path”: Mikheil Saakashvili
Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili made a Facebook post regarding Armenians.
Saakashvili shared a statement written in Armenian, noting that Armenia’s existence, as well as the fate of peace in the Caucasus, depends on Georgia’s return to the European path.
The former president has frequently commented on Armenia and its policies. On October 18, 2023, he urged Nikol Pashinyan to leave the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), to reject the Russian military base, and to apply to the EU and NATO.
