MFA of Armenia discusses teturn of citizens via Middle Eastern countries
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia is conducting discussions with FlyOne, FlyDubai, Air Arabia, and Qatar Airways to organize and support the operation of potential flights. This was stated by Ani Badalyan, the Spokesperson of the RA MFA, on her Facebook page.
According to her, relevant discussions are also underway with partners in Middle Eastern countries to facilitate the necessary processes. An assessment of the needs of the citizens has also been conducted.
Diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Armenia in Middle Eastern countries, including Iran and Israel, continue to operate in a 24-hour emergency mode. The same applies to countries from which Armenian citizens were scheduled to return via transit flights.
Badalyan noted that, at this moment, there is no information regarding Armenian citizens among the casualties.

As a reminder, following strikes on facilities located in the Persian Gulf countries on February 28, Dubai International Airport, which serves about 1,000 flights daily, as well as Abu Dhabi Airport, were damaged. Thousands of flights have been canceled, including those from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah to Armenia and vice-versa.
