A dispute erupted between Armenian and Turkish wrestlers on the mat
During the U23 World Wrestling Championship in Tirana, a dispute occurred on the mat between Lyova Gevorgyan and Turkish wrestler Hakan Buyukcingil in the 125 kg weight category.
Both wrestlers were disqualified. Lyova Gevorgyan is the gold medalist of the 2022 European U20 Championship. In 2021, the Armenian wrestler won a silver medal at the U21 World Championship.
