The newly crowned world champion, Varazdat Lalayan, has received congratulations from Lasha Talakhadze, a three-time Olympic champion and seven-time World and European champion from Georgia.

Varazdat Lalayan, silver medalist of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, reigning European and world champion in weightlifting, has been awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of Armenia. The award was presented by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan. Deputy Minister Karen Giloyan also attended the meeting.

The new head coach of Armenia’s national football team will be announced in January. This was stated by the President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), Armen Melikbekyan, during the 25th regular session of the FFA.
